Launching at this park bypasses many of the no-wake zones further north on the St. Lucie River.
Residents also enjoy Jessica Clinton community park which offers 20 acres of space with a pavilion, picnic tables, play area, and restrooms. Sport enthusiasts enjoy two lighted tennis courts, a basketball court, two baseball fields, and a multipurpose turf field. A half mile sidewalk / trail winds around the perimeter of the park.
Nearby are the Shoppes at Veranda Falls where you’ll find a Publix grocery store, Wells Fargo bank, Bonefish Macs restaurant, Cornerstone Bistro restaurant, nail salon, dentist, and other various stores and shops. Additionally, Southbend has easy access to two Turnpike exits.
