Jacaranda Lakes is centrally located in Plantation with eight entrances into the community, encompassing the area south of Sunrise Blvd., west of Pine Island Rd., east of Nob Hill Rd. and north of NW 10 Street. A well established neighborhood with winding streets and cul-de-sacs in Plantation, Jacaranda Lakes consists of large homes between 3-5 bedrooms that range between 1,551-3,340 square feet of living area. The Enclave at Jacaranda Lakes, comprised of 50 homes, is the only section of this neighborhood that is gated. Most homes are single story with only a few two story homes. There are several lakes throughout the community providing about half the homes with lake views. There are also two canals within the community, providing water views to even more residents. The well-maintained streets lined with winding, wide sidewalks are ideal for morning jogs or evening strolls.
Amenities include a community clubhouse and tennis courts, walking distance proximity to the lake, and a picnic area. Neighborhood amenities include the Jacaranda Lakes Park which features two tennis courts, a children's playground, and a jogging/walking trail, most of which is lakeside, with several exercise stations along the way. There is also a walking bridge at the southern end of NW 94th Avenue that crosses a canal and connects Jacaranda Lakes to a lakeside walking path, then onto Central Park Place which leads to Plantation's popular Central Park with its numerous amenities.
