Misty Creek Country Club is a private gated country club located in Sarasota, Florida. This equity golf community includes an 18-hole championship golf course which is surrounded by beautiful wetlands and preserves set on 350 acres of preserve with lakes and hammock forests. Although The Preserve at Misty Creek has no golf membership requirements, the club does offer golfers a beautiful golf course that is set among native trees, lakes and wildlife
Adjacent to acres of wildlife preserve and sheltered from the busy thoroughfares of Sarasota, Misty Creek is situated on 780 acres of land and includes 302 single family homes surrounding the course. This quiet, secluded community boasts one and two-story homes of approximately 3200 sq. ft. and up. There are a variety of floor plans many that pairs the main living area with a pool and spa. Misty Creek home sites are large and spacious with golf course or preserve views, which truly make this unique country club living.
Besides the golf course, the club offers members a full grass driving range, practice green and short game area with a sand bunker. In addition to excellent golf facilities, residents have access to Tennis Courts, Pickleball Courts, fully staffed pro shop, and an active social calendar. A reciprocal summer program offering playing privileges at other Sarasota area golf courses, a Men's and Women's golf association and a junior golf program are also featured. The club offers both fine dining as well as a more casual options in The Grill room on the 2nd floor of the Clubhouse. The Preserve at Misty Creek is located on a heavily forested tract of land that houses many kinds of wildlife, including deer, bobcats, bald eagles, several species of hawks, sandhill cranes, egrets, alligators, and large turtles. There is also an abundance of fish who live in our Misty Creek lakes where residents can fish and paddle on the many lakes.
Misty Creek provides members a luxurious lifestyle in a great location close to pristine beaches, shopping, dining and culture. The community is close to Interstate 75 and just off of Bee Ridge Extension. Misty Creek is approximately a 20 minute drive to beautiful beaches and resorts on Longboat and Siesta Key, close to several churches, all on Bee Ridge Road. Shopping is within minutes as well.
