Poinciana is a 55+ golf community in Lake Worth. The community is primarily comprised of condo homes with a limited number of attached and single-family homes at the center of the community. Poinciana is conveniently located on the west side of Lake Worth with plenty of shopping options as well as the Florida Turnpike located nearby. Poinciana is mostly made up of seven condo buildings. Most condos range from 1,222 square feet to 1,663 square feet with 1-3 bedrooms and assigned parking spaces. A small number of attached and single-family homes are available in the center of the community. These range in size from approximately 1,500 to 2,100 square feet with 2-3 bedrooms and attached garages.
Residents are surrounded by an 18 hole golf course, available to residents on a pay-per-use basis, and other amenities like clubhouses, outdoor pools, and walking trails. At the center of the community is an expansive clubhouse with plenty of space for community and club gatherings. The clubhouse is also home to Mel's Way Bistro that offers a changing menu and live entertainment four nights a week. Outdoors, there is a large outdoor pool and patio at the clubhouse along with seven others at each condo building. There are also four tennis courts, bocce ball courts, and shuffleboard courts.
Poinciana is only eight miles from the coast making it easily accessible for residents to visit the beach or do some fishing. For air travel, Palm Beach International airport is ten miles northeast of the community.
